Gaulin Media owns and operates the online job board JeffGaulin.com -- the oldest and most popular source for media jobs in Canada. Every week thousands of media professionals come to the site to search for careers and post their career profile information. Major media companies such as the CBC, CTV and Rogers Media use the site regularly to attract employees.

The Objectives

Gaulin Media wanted to make it easier for visitors to find and post jobs. They wanted to give the site personality and a professional look-and-feel. They also needed an easier way to update and manage the Web site content.

The Solution

Soulfx worked with Gaulin Media to develop a creative brief and new site architecture based on user needs. Job listing and career profile information was stored on a SQL database. A content management system was developed to maintain this information. Finally, a search engine was added to the Web site to make it easier for visitors to find jobs and job seekers.
