The Company

Rhéo Thompson Candies has been in the candy business for the past 34 years. They are famous throughout southern Ontario for their chocolates. They also offer a wide range of hard candies, fruit jellies, peanut brittle, nutty pop, fudge and specialty nuts.

The Objectives

Rhéo Thompson Candies needed to create a secure online catalogue that reflected their high standards and brand quality. The ultimate goal was to increase consumer confidence in the online store which would result in increased online orders. The online store had to be both easy-to-use by their customers and easy-to-maintain by store employees.

The Solution

Soulfx worked with Rhéo Thompson Candies to develop a fully searchable online catalog. Separating the online store into product, seasonal and occasional categories, makes it easier for customers to find what they want. Customers are given as much information about the candies short of holding them in their hands.

The Results

The site has received orders from all over Canada and the United States. At the current pace of sales, it is expected that the site will recover development costs within the first six months of operation. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
