Gabriel Brothers sell brand name clothing and accessories at discount prices similar to Winners or Marshalls. They operate 47 Gabe’s stores operating in eight states, and another 59 Rugged Wearhouse stores across nine states. Most of these stores are in the US Northeast.
Gabriel Brothers uses a discount rewards program as a primary driver of sales. Customers could register in-store, through a mail-in option or by calling a 1-800 number. However, there was no way to do this online. By creating an online registration process Gabriel Brothers would reduce the number of customer service calls and create a better customer experience. Secondly, the online presence needed to be completely revamped to accommodate mobile devices and to display product information.
Soulfx developed responsive templates and integrated the site into the WordPress content management system. Soulfx developed APIs in both .Net/MS SQL and PHP/MySQL to push data from the online registration site to the Gabriel Brothers data center. In addition, more APIs were created to push data for newsletter sign-ups from MyGabes.com to ExactTarget used for email marketing.
Users can now browse Gabriel products online and manage their own account information. This has reduced calls to the Gabriel Brothers customer service department helped increase sales in some stores. Integration into the ExactTarget Salesforce Marketing Cloud triggers personal-focused consumer emails and is easily managed.
