RxHelp.ca’s has been providing Canadian health care consumers access to brand-name pharmaceutical manufacturers patient assistance programs since 2007. This allows consumers to receive brand-name medications from companies such as Merck, Pfizer and Eli Lilly at lower prices.
Patients register to receive either a mailed card, a PDF download or a mobile-friendly version of the card.
RxHelp.ca is owned and operated by CameronStewart Lifescience.
RxHelp.ca was first created in 2007. Over the past 8 years features and services have been added to the site – but not always in an organized way. The business goal was to make the site easier to use for consumers and easier to manage by RxHelp.ca staff. In addition, the site needed to be updated to accommodate more modern browsers and devices.
Soulfx led the client through a user experience design process to simplify the process. This led to both a simplified, mobile-friendly workflow. Improved logic was also added to the application code to further streamline the process.
The RxHelp site was built with a combination of customized ASP.Net code for the order management process and Umbraco CMS for the content management system.
In addition, a number of APIs were created which allow RxHelp.ca card registration from a number of third-party sites. In a sense, the site works as an aggregator to collect data from a number of different channels.
Users can now order cards with fewer steps, in a streamlined process that helps increase conversions. The site is fully responsive which creates a better consumer experience and means far less maintenance because of the unified templates.
“I strongly recommend working with Soulfx. They operate in a professional manner and clearly outline at the beginning of each project their understanding of what is required and provide valuable insight and feedback that add to the success of the project.”
